BMW 428i diagnosed with a few faults, such as 1f2601 coding error, ced400 communication time out between the ecu and fuel pump control module, cf1531 communication error between the engine ecu and gearbox ecu, these faults can relate to a bad or incorrect remap due to many different reasons such as corrupt data etc, so we put the car back to standard and let the customer try it with a standard file, the good news is that the faults did not return, we have asked the customer to continue driving the vehicle for a week or so to make sure everything is still okay, then we will add our stage 1 remap, once this is remapped, power will rise from 241hp to 290hp and torque has risen from 350nm to 450nm. As we read the ecu in bench mode we also retained the tuned file incase this did not rectify the problems so we could put that back on the ecu for the customer.
